Written by: Nick Lamoureux
Los Angeles based producer, Qlank, made his Arizona debut Wednesday at Charlie Trumbull’s on Mill Avenue in Tempe.
As part of the Night Bass Freshmen Vol 2 release, Qlank’s original, “Cops” provides exactly the UK vibe that we have all come to expect from the AC Slater run label.
In a short interview with Moon Landing, Qlank described his debut in Arizona as, “nothing less than perfect.” Saying that Arizona had treated him with the best love and care.
“Everyone I met was so nice and ready to dance the night away with me,” said Qlank. “Glad I got to show my Art out there (AZ) and I absolutely can’t wait to be back to do it again.”
Qlank got his start producing in Detroit but moved to Los Angeles to take his career to the next level. After attending Icon Collective, he says he was able to “truly hone my skills as a producer.”
