Flux Pavilion Teases .wav LP with Asha Collab “I Believe”

Article by: Sam Wolloch

Dubstep veteran Flux Pavilion is back in a big way, ending 2020 with a small taste from his upcoming sophomore LP, a 16-track opus titled .wav. Asha lends her longing vocals to the #NewMusicFriday single “I Believe,” out now via Circus Records, which Flux Pavilion founded along with fellow UK dubstep tastemaker Doctor P in 2009.

“I Believe” reveals a softer side to Flux Pavilion’s upcoming work, with elegant synthwork to compliment Asha’s delicate vocals, creating a masterful soundscape. The accents of zapping sounds and fluttering noises foreshadow the depth of the January 2021 album, which will be replete with Flux Pavilion’s precision production. Another production of note is the sweet lyric video for “I Believe,” with detailed and colorful animations in the same style of the album’s cover art.

To get the inside scoop on a few more of the goodies from the forthcoming .wav LP, go check out the B2B set Flux Pavilion played with Feed Me as part of the Cookie Monsta Tribute Livestream. Remarkably, Flux DJs the entire time with his trusty guitar strapped over his shoulder, and even graces listeners with several tantalizing riffs.
