Miami's most notorious dance music festival, ULTRA has officially been cancelled.
Tuesday morning members from Ultra Music Festival and Miami elected officials, Mayor Francis Suarez and Commissioner Joe Carollo decided to pull the plug on the Ultra's 2020 premier event in Miami. This decision comes on the continued pandemic fear over the spread of the new Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 that originated in Wuhan, China.
The heartbreaking news came earlier this morning confirmed by the Miami Herald. Headliner this year were to include the likes of Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buren, Flume, Carl Cox, DJ Snake, Major Lazer and more.
This immediately raises questions about other major festivals coming up including Coachella, SXSW and EDC Las Vegas.
This is the second year in a row with complication surrounding the festival as they were voted out of Bayfront Park last year by Miami officials, but to the delight of many allowed back this year.
As of right now there is no information available about refunds but we will update everyone as soon as there is more information available...
