Mistah Dill and MarshedBass Unleash Massive Collaboration “Rinse That Sound"
Article by: Ryan Hood
With dub sirens and wobbly bass galore, Mistah Dill and MarshedBass have come together to create another outstanding collaboration with “Rinse That Sound,” out now via The Gradient Perspective. The two are carving out their own unique niches in the underground bass community, and this single is a fantastic representation of their work.
“Rinse That Sound” begins with a subdued intro, quickly punctuated by a signature dub siren before the variable bassline comes in. This track showcases the two producers’ sound design chops, as the bassline features numerous expertly-crafted bass synths while the melody dances around a halftime beat. Hearing this tune on a proper sound system is certain to keep audiences entranced with dazzling bass synthesis. Mistah Dill and MarshedBass released a drum & bass collaboration last year “HANDS UP,” and the two have a clear rapport with one another.
Mistah Dill is rapidly rising through the underground scene. He recently made an appearance on MoonLvnding’s Mothership Radio Guest Mix, and has opened for many artists including Eprom, CloZee, and more. He’ll be opening for Oakk at Bassmint in Grand Rapids and Troyboi and Ravenscoon at Elektricity in Pontiac in early 2022.
MarshedBass is also making a rise through the scene as one of the underground’s best sound engineers; mixing and mastering all of his own tracks. Signed and managed by the esteemed Wavecraft Collective, he’s fresh off a slew of impressive releases in 2021 and will open for Ternion Sound, Black Carl!, and others in Providence, RI this month.
