Rising tech house star SHDWS has dropped another impressive tune, “Kontrol,” out now on Divided Souls Records. The tune marks SHDWS’s return to the label after his freshman track “Vixen” received tremendous support from listeners and as well as the label leader Wax Motif himself – clearly more fresh house tunes are sure to follow.
“Kontrol” has a deep bassline layered with catchy vocals courtesy of Avacar. The opening drop builds into shuttery lyrics before hitting its main chorus. The track has a smooth but groovy feel, with multiple drops of dark house combined with bouncy synths.
This track is a bop from start to finish and is impossible to listen to sitting down. “Kontrol” did tons of damage at Wax Motif’s park n’ rave, and is sure to see plenty of playing time on the big stages soon enough.
