It’s another beautiful day for a preview of melodic bass festival Lost In Dreams, this time with a single from duo Friendzone featuring revered vocalist Nevve. “Glow In The Dark” is a future bass paradise, with a gorgeous uplifting melody.
Nevve’s ethereal vocals open the song with hopeful lyrics, encouraging listeners to follow their heart always. As the build intensifies with a catchy drum beat, the feeling of sanguinity continues, before exploding into an elegantly bass boosted drop. With an almost soundtrack-like atmosphere, it’s easy to picture exactly the mood “Glow In The Dark” will be setting over crowds very soon.
Friendzone, consisting of Jesse Woods and Hayden Warzek, stormed out of Salt Lake City with unique, charged up production. The two are described as having “carefree attitudes” that extends in their personalities and music, and it certainly shows in their songs. EDM fans will also recognize the name Nevve right away. The highly talented, yet mysterious vocalist has lent her chops to many huge artists, including Illenium, KSHMR, Audien, and of course Seven Lions, with the iconic track “Island.”
The DJ duo will soon take the stage at Lost In Dreams, the brand new Insomniac festival in Las Vegas Labor Day weekend. Stationed at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, the fest is centered around “vocal driven dance music” from future bass to melodic dub. It’s for sure to be an absolutely fire weekend with a lineup that includes Gryffin, Nurko, LICK, a Chet Porter b2b Manilla Killa set, and many more fantastic artists. Paired with Insomniac’s out of this world production, Lost In Dreams is set to wow crowds in just a couple weeks from now.
