Henry Fong Gets Hard and Heavy With New Single “Real”

Article by: Trevor Di Carlo

Henry Fong, the tropical club connoisseur, packs the heat for this new music Friday with the hot track “Real.” Fong has been busy in the studio in recent times, collaborating with Jayceeoh on a remix for Rema’s single “Dumebi,” as well as releasing “Arriba” with JSTJR and his original tune “Jump Up.” And don’t forget his well received Fong Island EP, which has been pumping up the tropical vibes since its release last August.

Henry Fong teams up with Linka for the iconic bop, released on Showtek’s imprint SKINK Records. The track strays a bit from the tropical sound that Henry Fong has developed for himself and dives deep into heavy bass production. Case in point, “Real” clocks in at a staggering 150 BPM. The speedy tempo, teamed up with a strong pumping bassline and electrifying vocal samples, gives listeners a powerful track to dance and rage to now that the song has finally been released after Fong teased it on previous live streams.
